Twilight photography captures the home in the short window after sunset (or before sunrise) when the sky turns deep blue and interior lights glow warm against it. The contrast makes a house look inviting in a way midday light rarely does.
Twilight is booked as its own session because timing is everything: it depends on the sunset time for the shoot date and on clear enough weather. It is a flat-rate service regardless of home size.

When twilight earns its cost
Twilight works best when the exterior is the hook: a modern West Vancouver home, a character house with a lit porch, a townhome with a landscaped entry. For a mid-building condo unit with no exterior of its own, the money is usually better spent on HDR Photography of the view or a Floor View Tour.
How to prepare for a twilight shoot
Every light should be on — interior, exterior, garden and pot lights — and blinds open to the same height. Move vehicles and bins out of frame. Because the light changes by the minute, the photographer arrives before sunset and shoots through the blue hour, so a punctual start matters.
